EpoxySystems' Product #220 Epoxy Rebar Touch Up Coating
DESCRIPTION Product #220 Epoxy Rebar Touch Up Coating, is a two component, 70% solids epoxy coating specially manufactured to touch up damage epoxy coated rebar or to coat rebars not previously protected against corrosion. ADVANTAGES Product #220 Epoxy Rebar Touch Up Coating can be field applied. For best results apply at temperatures of 50°F and rising. PHYSICAL PROPERTIES
SURFACE PREPARATION Surfaces to receive Product #220 Epoxy Rebar Touch Up Coating should be dry and free of oil, grease, dust, scale, rust and damaged coating. MIXING Stir Components "A" and "B" thoroughly before mixing. Combine one part by volume of "A" with one part by volume of "B" (mixing ratio 1:1). Mix for not less than three minutes, using a slow speed drill, (300 to 600 rpm) and an EpoxySystems’ Mixing Paddle. When mixing has been completed, cover mixed material and allow an induction time of not less than 45 minutes before application? APPLICATION Product #220 Epoxy Rebar Touch Up Coating can be applied by brush or roller. COVERAGE Product #220 Epoxy Rebar Touch Up Coating when applied at an approximate rate of 300 square feet per gallon will provide a film thickness of 5.25 mils wet and 3.75 mils dry. Two (2) coats are recommended PACKAGING Product #220 Epoxy Rebar Touch Up Coating is packaged in two (2) gallon and ten (10) gallon units. CAUTION "A" Component: May cause skin sensitization or other allergic responses. Avoid inhalation of vapor. Use good ventilation, particularly if material is heated or sprayed. Prevent all contact with skin or eyes. Wear protective clothing, goggles, gloves and/or barrier cream. If contact with skin occurs, wash immediately with soap and water. In case of contact with eyes, flush immediately with water and contact a physician. CAUTION! DANGER! Contains alkaline amines; strong sensitizer. Do not get into eyes, on skin or clothing. Avoid breathing vapor. Keep container closed. Use with adequate ventilation. Wash thoroughly after handling. FIRST AID In case of contact, immediately flush eyes or skin with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes. Remove contaminated clothing and shoes. Call a physician. Wash clothing before reuse. Discard contaminated shoes. Wear protective clothing, goggles, gloves and/or barrier creams. FOR INDUSTRIAL USE ONLY. KEEP AWAY FROM CHILDREN.

Epoxy Systems™ Product Company ("ESI") warrants its products (when properly stored) for the period of time as follows: Epoxies, Product #315, Product #315BC, and Product #316 one (1) year; Polyesters, Methyl Methacrylates (normal) two (2) months and Polyurethanes Four (4) months; Power Tools and Equipment 90 days; Vinyl Esters, High Molecular Weight Methacrylates (HMMA) and all other resins (not specifically mentioned above) 30 days; hand tools (non-power tools) 30 days. ESI warrants that its products will be free of manufacturing defects and will be in conformity with published specifications when handled, stored, mixed and applied in accordance with recommendations of ESI. If any product fails to meet this warranty, the liability of ESI will be limited to replacement of any non-conforming material if notice of such non-conformity is given to ESI within the warranty period for the material (as indicated above), or within 1 year of the delivery of materials (whichever is sooner). ESI may in its discretion refund the price received by ESI in lieu of replacing the material. No customer, distributor, or representative of ESI is authorized to change or modify the published specifications of this warranty in any way. No one is authorized to make oral warranties on behalf of ESI. In order to obtain replacement or refund the customer must provide written notice containing full details of the non-conformity. ESI reserves the right to inspect the non-conforming material prior to replacement. EXCEPT FOR THE EXPRESSED WARRANTY STATED ABOVE, THERE ARE NO OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION, ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR PURPOSE. ESI'S OBLIGATION SHALL NOT EXTEND BEYOND THE OBLIGATIONS EXPRESSLY UNDERTAKEN ABOVE AND ESI SHALL HAVE NO LIABILITY OR RESPONSIBILITY TO THE PURCHASER OR ANY THIRD PARTY FOR ANY LOSS, COST, EXPENSE, DAMAGE OR LIABILITY, WHETHER DIRECT OR INDIRECT, OR FOR INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES. All quotes and sales subject to availability. Many of our products are made on an individual order basis. Unless authorized in writing by Epoxy Systems, Inc. in writing before the material is made, there are no returns on items purchased from us, once the order has been processed, and the material made. In the event of authorized returns a restocking charge will be charged in the amount of 30% of the value of the material returned or $150 whichever is greater. No returns on non-list priced items. All Returns are for merchandise (store) credit only, no cash or credit card credits. In the event of a return, buyer is responsible for the cost of shipping and handling in both directions.
